This incident caused the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
